This Saturday 16th of April… We welcome the incredible multi instrumentalist and recording artist/producer Slakah The Beatchild <<<LIVE>>> To The Morpheus Soul Show!

Soulful chords, warm harmonies & intricate progressions are the root of this unique feel good musician. On a quest to provide quality vibes to the world. He’s debut album, the incredible ‘Soul Movement Vol.1’  was released in 2008 and featured  Ayah, Divine Brown, Shad, Ayah, Drake, Melanie Durrant too name a few! Slakah has recently re-released the superb 2010 ‘Something Forever EP’ as a Special Edition with fresh tracks, one of which is currently sitting at the number one spot in The Morpheus Soul Shows Top Five Countdown!

Raised on the finest old school soca, calypso, reggae & classic soul, Slakah the Beatchild has a true appreciation for writing styles, musicianship, recording & mixing techniques of the early analogue years. At an early age his Grenadian born parents would give him 8 track tapes from the Fat Boys to Bobby McFerrin. In no time the Beatchild wanted to learn how to play the music he loved listening to and his parents enrolled him in drum, piano, violin & vocal lessons. His natural talent, coupled with the music theory all helped build a strong foundation for Slakah’s unique sound.

Today he works with artists around the world producing everything from R&B to rock earning three Juno nominations (Canadian Grammys). He’s worked with major labels such as BBE, Universal, Warner & SonyBMG  and runs his own production studio Beatchild Productions. In addition to producing for others, Slakah the Beatchild performs as a solo artist & DJ.
